Lipton’s Seat is Haputale’s most famous viewpoint, named after Sir Thomas Lipton, the pioneer of Ceylon tea. From the top, visitors enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of tea estates, hills, and valleys, sometimes stretching as far as the southern coast on clear mornings. Tourists usually visit early in the morning to avoid mist and enjoy sunrise views.
